The Educator/Program grants awarded by FOCS provide Chimacum School District staff with the opportunity to obtain materials, expand upon projects, create and implement innovative ideas, enrich technology, and engage students in cutting edge applications within the field of education, NOT otherwise subsidized by district funds.  

 

Grants are reviewed and awarded by members of the FOCS Educator/Program Grants Board, expenditures are closely monitored and an evaluation of the grant award is a requirement of the recipient. The board believes that eliciting the expansion of students experiences beyond the basic curriculum sustains student interest and excitement towards learning.
